Sister Circles

Circle alter photo.jpg

We will share.  We will contemplate.   We will move.  We will create.
We will listen.   Together, we will soar.

"Sister Circles" are a warm and inviting community that celebrates the unique bond of sisterhood.  It serves as a safe haven for women to connect, support, and uplift each other in a spirit of camaraderie and understanding. Within the circle, diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds come together, fostering a rich tapestry of shared wisdom and mutual empowerment.

This sisterhood embraces the values of trust, compassion, and authenticity.  Sisters  find solace in the shared journey of life's joys and challenges, creating a space where they can openly express themselves without judgment. The circle is a place where laughter is abundant, tears are welcomed, and genuine connections flourish.

Activities within the sister circle may include heartfelt shares, meaningful movement, and sacred rituals that strengthen the bonds of sisterhood. It's a space where women can find inspiration, encouragement, and a sense of belonging, knowing they have a supportive community to lean on. Through the ups and downs of life, the sister circle stands as a testament to the power of unity, friendship, and the enduring strength found in the collective spirit of sisterhood.

In-Person (Edmonds)

The golden thread represents our intuition, our inner knowing.  It is the source that weaves all the teachings we have learned over our lifetimes from our parents, our friends, professors, gurus, wise women, sages, kupunas, and all those who serve as teachers for us.  It binds together all of the different parts of us as humans and souls and imbues each part with strength, groundedness, and inner knowing.  When we gather together for circle, the golden thread connects each of our hearts as we commune with one another to create a sacred container for connection and love.  Within our circle the golden thread is a unifying element that binds the members of the circle together. This metaphorical thread represents shared values, experiences, trust, and a deep connection among the women in the group. The golden thread signifies the strength and resilience of the relationships within the sister circle, creating a supportive and nurturing environment.

Golden Thread Sister Circles are monthly in-person gatherings full of connection, community, and a little bit of magic sprinkled in.  We will weave the golden thread connecting all the parts of ourselves as we embark on a sacred journey of self-awareness and empowerment. We will also weave in our connection to our sisters, creating a safe supportive circle where each voice is valued and heard. Every month, we'll explore a different theme which will have a description below.  There will be time to share, time to reflect, and time to move your body with a short movement activity suitable for all physical abilities.  Let your sisters hold you up, inspire you, encourage you, and accept you just as you are,  as we  navigate this journey of self-healing, exploration, and growth.

This sister circle will invite us to explore the expectations we have as women to be mothers/nurterers/caregivers and are feelings around that role. We will take a look at how the Mother Archetype plays a role in our lives and how we can embody her nurturing energy.

Garden of Delight:  A Beltane Circle for Women's Sensuality

We welcome you, Sisters, as we step into the embrace of our May Day / Lei Day / Beltane Circle, where we will learn to cultivate a deep sense of delight - in our bodies, in our relationships, and in the world around us.  Beltane is a celebration of the divine feminine that occurs at the height of spring and is the perfect time to revel in the beauty and abundance of the natural world.  Together we will plant a garden of sensual delights to nourish our souls and ignite our passion for living.

Through deep sharing, ritual, and movement, we will engage in inspired practices to help us slow down, savor the present moment, and find joy in the simple pleasures of life. We will explore the realms of touch, taste, sight, sound, and smell to discover new ways of engaging our senses, and we will open our wellspring of sensual pleasure through sacral dance moves.  We will also learn to honor our deepest desires, to trust the primal wisdom of our bodies, and to unapologetically claim our right to pleasure and joy by embracing the Enchantress within.  We will emerge from this circle feeling more alive, more connected, and more empowered to live our lives with a sense of wonder, gratitude, and delight.
